KPMG is currently seeking an Advisory Associate for our Advisory practice.

Responsibilities :

• Identify internal controls within business processes and conduct cyclical internal control testing and analyze results
• Perform analytical reviews of key client processes and connection to enabling IT systems
• Work on teams focused on providing data driven solutions to address a variety of risk factors and identify performance improvement opportunities
• Complete quantitative and qualitative analysis related to fraud, forensics, insider threat and supply chain risk-related client issues
• Collect information and data through effective client interviews, system queries and internal/external research
• Complete quantitative and qualitative analysis through variety of data analytic tools and techniques and visualize results
• Contribute to the design, preparation and analysis of reports and findings in a clear, logical and concise manner to key team and client leadership

Qualifications :

• Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed the following degrees/majors in the past 12 months; Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Business Administration or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
• Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above
• Applicant must be eligible for or possess a U.S. Government Security clearance
• Strong in technical, business acumen, critical thinking and agility skills; demonstrated ability to excel and drive strategic outcomes, coupled with a professional demeanor and a collaborative leadership approach, in a dynamic, evolving environment
• Ability to leverage common business technologies, including MS Office (with an emphasis on Excel) and AI, and quickly learn KPMG tools and applications used by our clients
• Strong communication, organization and relationship-building skills, with the ability to apply professional judgment and skepticism, manage priorities across multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work in a professional services capacity
• Must reside within a commutable distance of the office for this position and be responsible for your own transportation, such as personal vehicle or public transportation, to get to and from office / client locations to satisfactorily fulfill your job duties, as determined by your practice leadership
• Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need; you must be located within the U.S. when working remotely; client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay
