Be found.OverviewResponsible for developing and supporting data products, this resource plays a critical role in the development of data warehouse/data lake solutions utilized by internal and external stakeholders. Design and develop warehouse solutions built on the Microsoft SQL Server and AWS technology stacks. These solutions include ETL, data modeling, data quality assessment and data delivery.ResponsibilitiesCreate high performance data products by monetizing warehouse and ETL solutions using SSIS, python and SparkPerformance tuning and optimization of ETL, SQL and database structuresDesign and develop tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints and stored proceduresMonitor long running transactions and can optimize query executions using best practices and methodologiesAssist/support in the design process on an as needed basisDesign data models for enterprise-wide data integration incorporating:Structured and unstructured dataReal time, on-demand, batch and varying timing schedulesBuild data flow automation to retrieve, transform and load dataManage data warehouse structure and file storage rulesData management functions including:Metadata managementCreate, alter, delete, grant permissions, indexing, updatingQuery tuningMaintain best practices for handling, storing and using data Tools:SQL Server/SSISPython/JavaWeb Analytics Platforms – Google, Adobe, etc.BI Platforms – Tableau, Datorama, etc.Cloud Technologies – AWS, Azure, GoogleQualificationsBS Degree in one of the following subject areas; Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferredMinimum of 5+ years of experience developing large scale complex database solutionsDemonstrated experience with BI database designAbility to track and resolve database related incidents as well as requestsSolid understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practicesSolid understanding of ETL and data warehouse principlesGood interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsTechnical documentation skillsAbility to convey complex ideas in user-friendly languageSelf-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detailAble to prioritize and implement tasks in a team-oriented, high-pressure environment Specific Skills Required: Minimum 6 years SQL experience, 5 years of ETL experience, 7 years analyzing data setsStrong data warehouse knowledgeExperience with JSON, XML, ORC,AVRO and Parquet file formatsExperience with large data setsJava, C# or R experience a plusExperience with REST API callsExperience with Web and Digital marketing data a plusAdditional informationOur Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
