Job Description Responsible for contributing to the development and execution of employee programs and initiatives set out in the employee communications strategy and plan, with accountability for the management and oversight of specific initiatives as assigned, including onboarding, town halls, engagement activities and leading the culture committee, post-event surveys, and all employee emails/newsletters; to create visibility into the department roadmap, priorities, projects, and work across the full department; influence greater connection and collaboration across teams; and strengthen employees sense of belonging and connection to the department, its mission, and its work in order to enhance employee engagement and department culture,create visibility into departmental priorities, strategic roadmaps, and key initiatives. Responsibilities Support strategies and initiatives that engage employees through compelling communications outreach,programs,and initiatives. Contribute to developing employee communications strategies that are aligned and support thedepartmentstrategies and priorities. Contribute to the development and effective use of a communications plan for employee communications relevantforthe department and engagement in departmental activities, meetings, and events. Contribute to the development of multifaceted plans with initiatives and programs that each contribute to advancing team engagement and are effective vehicles to drive clearly defined messages across all channels of distribution,reaching,and engaging employees. Collaborate with peers and team engagement committees to continuallyidentifyopportunities to enhance department engagement, increase visibility among department projects, colleagues and work, engage leadership, plan and execute related internal programs and initiatives. Manage content for the engagement program and department resources that enhance onboarding, team information sharing, and access to department and team supporting materials. Manage all planninglogisticsfor department town halls and leadership meetings, includingliaisingany vendors,colleagues,and partners to ensureeventis flawlessly executed. Responsible for tracking andmeasurementon administering and analyzing post-event surveysin order toinform future efforts and monitor progress. Prepare and send specific all-department emails/newsletters including VP messages on important initiatives, activities, and events for the department. Manage timing andappropriate flowof communications developed, partnering with Associate Director on editorial calendar planning and coordination with internal communications, sites, and materials. Coordinate with BHR and otherfunctionscommunications teams, as needed, to ensure all communications are coordinated and delivered most effectively to the greatest readership and drive employee engagement and participation. Identifynew communications channels/solutions that allow for more efficient publishing of content, while building greater engagement with employees. Work closely with Brand & Communication functions to support business initiatives across the enterprise. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree with 5 years experience OR Masters Degree with 4 years experience Respective years of relevant experience and proven history of success in managing employee communications initiatives which protect corporate reputation, citizenship, crisis planning, and company values. Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with knowledge of emerging communication trends and technologies Strong business acumen with the ability to anticipate company and team needs 4+ years of experience and proven track record of success in managing employee communications initiatives which protect corporate reputation, citizenship, crisis planning, and company values.
