Sterile Processing Technician

We are seeking experienced candidates in all areas of the sterile processing department. Responsibilities include decontamination of all medical items, including drills, scopes, and instruments. Candidates will be involved in sterilization processes, including both sterrad and steam methods. Experience with high-level disinfection and endoscopic scope reprocessing is required. Additional duties include assembling and labeling instruments across multiple service lines. Candidates must have experience interacting as a liaison with operating rooms. The role requires ensuring sterilized instrumentation is appropriately packaged and delivered safely for use. Availability for occasional scheduled holidays may be required. Flexibility to float to other locations as needed is also essential. This position supports multiple reprocessing sites and requires proficiency in standardizing instrument trays. Candidates should be prepared for an urgent credentialing process and must complete necessary requirements promptly. References from previous supervisors or managers are necessary for verification. All candidates must be committed to compliance standards and demonstrate responsiveness throughout the hiring process.
