Senior Security Engineer

Leading a distributed team of engineers, the full-time Senior Security Engineering Manager will define the strategic vision and operational execution for detecting, investigating, and responding to security threats across multi-cloud environments while fostering an engineering-first incident response culture remotely. Key responsibilities Own the strategic vision and roadmap execution for the Detection & Response program across multi-cloud infrastructure Build, scale, and mentor a global team of engineers across North America and India Oversee security incident response operations and drive post-incident reviews during high-severity security events Required qualifications 12+ years of experience in software development, security engineering, or security operations, with 5+ years in engineering or security management Proven track record of building and scaling engineering teams across multiple time zones Deep technical expertise in detection engineering, incident response, and threat intelligence Demonstrated ability to lead complex security incidents with composure and clarity Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent experience
