We are seeking a Quality Inspector to perform dimensional and visual inspections of incoming, in-process, and outgoing products. This is a technician-level position reporting directly to the Quality Manager.

We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and a solid understanding of quality inspection tools and gauges. Direct aerospace or composites experience is not required. We are willing to train and develop the right candidate who has foundational QC or dimensional inspection knowledge and the aptitude to grow within the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of incoming and outgoing products.
• Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections as required.
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and other precision inspection equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Verify product dimensions and ensure specifications are met.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Identify and document nonconforming materials or products.
• Support CMM inspection and dimensional data collection.
• Verify traceability, certifications, and manufacturing documentation.
• Work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering to resolve quality issues.
• Support corrective actions, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Assist with receiving inspection and other quality activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional inspection area.

Qualifications

• Previous quality control, quality inspection, or dimensional inspection experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of inspection tools and gauges.
• Ability to accurately measure and document product dimensions.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Basic understanding of GD&T preferred.
• Experience with precision measurement equipment.
• CMM experience is a plus but not required.
• Aerospace, composites, motorsports, or defense experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
