Job Description
Job Description
We are looking for a caring and dependable Caregiver to support a client in developing greater independence with everyday life skills and community involvement.
Schedule:
Approximately 15 hours per week
Responsibilities

Transport the client in your personal vehicle to volunteer opportunities and activities in the community

Help the client learn and practice basic cooking skills

Assist with meal planning and creating grocery lists

Accompany the client grocery shopping and help select items within a planned budget

Teach and reinforce basic budgeting and money-management skills

Encourage independence with daily living skills

Support the client in making choices and participating as independently as possible
Requirements

Must have a reliable personal vehicle to transport the client
Must maintain valid automobile insurance
Must be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification if not currently certified
Must successfully pass a Level 2 background screening

Comfortable with cooking, meal planning, grocery shopping, and basic budgeting

Previous caregiving, companion-care, or experience teaching life skills is a plus
