Job Responsibilities: General Job Duties: 3rd Shift Hours: 7pm - 7am Schedule: Thursday to Thursday, one week on one week off Must pass our Ramsay with a minimum of 50% To exhibit an objective, fair and professional attitude that exemplifies the principles outlined in The MAGNA Employee’s Charter to maintain a positive and productive workplace. To follow safety rules of Decostar and work in a manner that is conducive to maintaining a safe and healthful workplace including: training of new employees, reporting unsafe acts or conditions and correcting or commending health and safety performance. Ensure that all accidents or injuries are reported immediately and actively participate in the accident investigation and completion of all open action items. Ensure that you follow company policies and business objectives in the daily supervision of the operations of the company. To exhibit teamwork and leadership skills and actively participate in team activities in a positive working environment. To demonstrate problem solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement. To support all customer quality standards as well as the standards of Decostar. To perform daily cross-functional job assignments as required and per the department’s established procedures and work instructions. Have knowledge of general workplace health and safety in regard to the general public and visitors to Decostar. Ensure a spirit of respect, cooperation, ethical conduct and fair dealing in all our operations between our internal, external customers and suppliers. Specific Job Duties: Repair and maintain all equipment and facilities expediently to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment required to maintain uptime goals. Inspect all machinery for defects and potential problems in accordance with the preventative maintenance program, repairing and replacing parts as required. Order appropriate replacement parts and fluids through the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor. Determine reasons for equipment failures and advise managers on corrective and preventive actions to eliminate future downtime. Fabricate equipment components using welders, milling machines, lathes, and other machine tools as required. Troubleshoot and repair all electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Assist in tooling and mode changes as required by the production schedule. Execute lock out / tag out procedures as required on all molding department equipment and facilities. Communicate detailed job related information utilizing written and verbal communication forms such as team meetings, work orders, and other related reports. Assist in the implementation, development, and maintenance of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Maintain a high departmental standard of cleanliness. Perform other duties as directed. Will be required to be Forklift, Aerial Lift, and First Aid Certified. Education: H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is required. Associate degree in Technical related field preferred. Skills and Experience: Minimum three years maintenance experience in Molding, Paint or Assembly type Background.
