Position Overview

We invite you to join our expanding team of imaging professionals as a skilled and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist . Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic procedures, collaborate with a team of dedicated clinicians, and ensure that patients receive the accurate and timely imaging they deserve.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, explaining processes with clarity and empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring prompt reporting of any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain meticulous patient records within our electronic medical system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar credentials
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
