Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives - Nutrition - Lake County, IL (Abbott Park)

Abbott seeks a Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives within its nutrition division to define global strategy and drive revenue and margin growth. The role involves cross-functional collaboration across commercial, marketing, supply chain, and manufacturing teams, with exposure to senior leadership and international markets.
Responsibilities
- Support five-year strategy development and lead executive deckbuilding for monthly, quarterly, and board presentations
- Act as thought leader with global function leaders and country GMs to develop strategies and innovation roadmaps
- Analyze market research, customer trends, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities
- Manage implementation of global strategic initiatives and track performance against objectives
- Support preparation and presentation of strategic proposals to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or engineering
- 8-10 years experience at top-tier management consulting firm or corporate strategy in FMCG/pharmaceutical
- Advanced problem-solving skills with ability to translate unstructured challenges into actionable solutions
- Strong analytical background and financial process knowledge
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision under time constraints
- MBA strongly preferred
- Experience in consumer goods, retail, or health nutrition preferred
Compensation: $129,300-$258,700 base
