We are looking for a Reserve Inventory Specialist who has exceptional math and observation skills. This position's primary duties will be to manage slow-moving and aging inventory and to focus on reducing our reserve inventory. Reports to: PC Manager Minimum Qualifications: Use a handheld scanner, Do basic math, Use a pallet jack and/or forklift. Additional Competencies: Team player. Preferred Qualifications: Inventory Management knowledge. Working Conditions: Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures. Supervisory Responsibilities: No. Essential Job Functions: Manage and Reduce aging inventory, Achieve profit on slow moving inventory sales, Process returns to vendors on aging and reserve inventory, Negotiate special return terms and deals with vendors for reserve products, Work closely with sales to sell reserve inventory to their customers, Cross reserve products to possible substitutes to create turns, Document special return policies for the company, Work with Purchasing on resolving problem material, Solve nonstock products that are not moving through the system, Establish on-line vendor partners that will sell product for us, Transfer slow moving products to branches that can turn the product, Relocate D and E product to designated areas, Document inventory reduction results, Make recommendations and process annual reserve product write offs.
