Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Respiratory Therapist specializing in pediatric care (RT PEDS) at the location in Bellefontaine, Ohio. This professional will provide neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric respiratory services in accordance with physician orders, department policies, and protocols. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Bellefontaine, Ohio
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Active Ohio or compact license at the time of submission
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (American Heart Association), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (American Heart Association)
  • Completion of registry exam within one year of graduation
  • Zero years of experience required
  • Skills include patient assessment, medication administration, aerosol therapy, airway management and clearance, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, auscultation of breath sounds, and use of diagnostic equipment such as Blood Gas/Co-Oximetry Analyzers, Ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP Machines
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
• Additional Information: OnCall:TBD, Weekend: every 3rd weekend
