Financial Management Analyst

Duties

Responsible to the Chief, Revenue Cycle Management Branch for the management and oversight of all aspects of the UBO for the DHA.

Utilize in-depth knowledge of the Federal Laws pertaining to the programs, insurance industry guidelines, DoD, and DHA procedures and instructions to develop a training plan to ensure all DHA UBO personnel are current on the policies and procedures.

Develop and render authoritative interpretations of executive orders, OMB guidance within and across agency lines.

Ensure accuracy of reports regarding all programs of reimbursement; initiate specialized management reports to analyze the effectiveness of reimbursable programs; and develop and execute a process to reconcile reimbursable programs.

Prepare and implement DHA instructions regarding the DHA's Third Party Collection (TPC) program, Medical Affirmative Claims (MAC) Program, and Medical Services Account (MSA) Program.

Analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of DHA's programs and administrative operations.
