Duration: 2-Month Contract
Location: Anderson, SC (Onsite, Monday-Friday)

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk for a 2-month onsite contract in Anderson, SC. This individual will be responsible for reviewing, organizing, scanning, indexing, and maintaining patient medical records while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, experience working with medical documentation, and the ability to manage a high volume of records in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review, sort, and organize patient medical records and documentation.
• Scan, upload, and index medical records into the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Ensure documents are accurately named and filed according to established standards.
• Retrieve, process, and maintain patient records as requested.
• Perform quality checks to ensure record completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks related to medical records management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in medical records, health information management, document imaging, or healthcare administration preferred.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills.
• Experience working with EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Contract Details:

• 2-Month Contract
• Fully Onsite in Anderson, SC
