TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Midland, Texas, 79701!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required in an emergency room of equivalent size (40+ bed ER, 200+ visits/day). License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required (must be willing to obtain if offered). Must-Have: - Recent ER travel experience preferred (within the past 6-8 months). - Level II or III trauma experience. Description: Urgent backfill needed. Care for adults and children in a high-volume emergency department. Experience in managing a diverse range of emergencies, including abdominal pain, acute psychosis, asthma, and trauma cases. Proficiency in advanced clinical skills, such as intubation, central line care, and blood product administration. Ability to manage patients in critical conditions, including drug overdose and cardiovascular events. Must comply with infection control measures and isolation precautions. Multi-disciplinary support available from respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Flexible to cater to patient care needs and provide guidance in triage situations. Expected to document patient care accurately through an electronic medical record system. Participation in holiday shifts may be required.
