We are seeking a qualified DME Specialist to join our DME team. Job Requirement: Must be able to travel to Cherry Hill, Deptford, Elmer, Linwood, Mullica Hill - MOB, Mullica Hill - Tomlin, Sewell, Vineland, and West Deptford. Core responsibilities include:
- Assist with insurance verification/authorization for the DME department when necessary
- Assist with fitting and applying braces, crutches, and other orthopedic soft goods
- Maintain/oversee clean and well-stocked DME inventory areas in various office locations
- Creates a positive patient experience by being polite, compassionate, and professional
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Medical Insurance Guidelines and requirements
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent customer service skills – minimum 2 years
- Travel to all locations
- DME experience preferred but not required
- Medical office background experience preferred
- Multi-tasker
- Candidate should be familiar with EMR/Electronic Health/Medical Record Systems
