About the Position

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OB - Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate fetal monitoring or above, STABLE for nursery Must-Have Skills/Experience: Preferably a nurse with at least one year of experience in General OB, Labor and Delivery, and Nursery care. Description: Must float to Nursery and Post-Partum. The facility provides acute care services and is known for its commitment to quality patient care. The OB unit consists of L&D rooms, nursery beds, and intermediate nursery beds. Patient ratios are maintained per guidelines. The OB unit typically experiences low volume, with less than 15 deliveries per month. Staffing may require floating to other units during low census periods. Common diagnoses and treatments include OB deliveries and nursery care.
