This role partners closely with nursing leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support unit orientation, annual education requirements, regulatory compliance, and quality monitoring initiatives while serving as a clinical and educational resource for frontline nursing staff.Key Responsibilities· Facilitate unit-based orientation for new 6 Central, Transplant Unit nursing staff· Coordinate and maintain annual education requirements, including regulatory, competency, and skills-based training· Provide education related to advanced transplant techniques· Support competency validation and ongoing clinical skill development· Collaborate with nursing leadership to support quality monitoring, safety, and performance improvement initiatives· Serve as a clinical resource for evidence-based cardiac and critical care practices· Promote professional growth, clinical excellence, and a culture of continuous learning· Provide flexibility for occasional nights and weekends to meet unit needsQualifications· Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required· Current Registered Nurse license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing· Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association required· Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required· Minimum of 3 years of cardiac specialty nursing experience required· Additional 1–3 years of training, education, or staff development experience preferred· Demonstrated proficiency with Liver and Kidney Transplants, Urology and Colorectal Surgeries, Bariatric Surgeries.Skills & Knowledge· Strong knowledge of cardiac critical care nursing and evidence-based practice· Excellent communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills· Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and nursing leadership· Passion for education, mentorship, and advancing cardiac nursing practice· Commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory complianceJoin Us!If you are passionate about cardiac care and nursing education and want to make a meaningful impact within a highly specialized critical care environment, Lahey Hospital & Medical Center offers an exceptional opportunity to grow and lead.Apply today and become part of a Magnet organization where nurses lead, grow, and make a difference.**Pay Range:**$38.11 - $98.23The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
