Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse for the ICU position requires prior ICU experience. The hospital is a community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds and is Joint Commission Accredited. The nurse will work in a high-acuity environment, caring for patients including those with STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, and Acute Respiratory Failure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the intensive care unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about the health care process and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Must be willing to float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry as needed.
