Cast-Crete is the nation’s largest manufacturer and distributor of precast concrete lintels and sills used in concrete masonry construction. Job Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our team and report to the Customer Service Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving incoming emails and phone calls to service customer requests related to orders, deliveries, backorders, service requests, and general inquiries. This role requires strong communication and writing skills with the ability to enter orders accurately. Multitasking and detail oriented are essential for this role. Must be a self starter and able to do able to handle short deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with new and existing customers regarding all their needs inclusive of orders, deliveries, backorders, service requests, and other general inquiries.
- Build and maintain strong, long lasting client relationships
- Accurately enter, update and track orders
- Boosts daily sales by upselling additional services
- Uses selling expertise to maximize opportunities and builds customer loyalty
- Research and provide accurate information regarding order and delivery status to customers
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 to 5 years of customer service, order/data entry & problem resolution.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- A strong command of the English language
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Analytical and accuracy skills needed for order entry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and dependability
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Construction or manufacturing knowledge.
- Spanish/Bilingual
