Respiratory Therapy - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all patient care areas of the hospital, including the Emergency Department and general care areas
• Perform ventilator management using equipment including V60 BiPAP, Hamilton G5, and Hamilton C1
• Conduct patient assessments and implement Assess and Treat Protocols across all age groups
• Deliver emergency respiratory services during Rapid Response and Code Blue events
• Utilize iStat for point-of-care testing and document all patient care in Epic
• Participate in every other weekend and holiday rotation; may be required to float to other nearby locations with advance notice

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Respiratory Therapy license required
• NBRC RRT credential required; NBRC CRT accepted with RRT to be obtained within one year
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Advanced NRP certifications required (AHA or ARC only)
• Minimum of 3 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Pediatric and NICU experience required
• Previous travel/contract experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with critical care and advanced ventilator management in a hospital setting
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records documentation
• Strong adaptability, resilience, and ability to manage change in a fast-paced environment
