Registered Nurse Transition-to-Practice
This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis and will remain on file through December 31, 2026. Eligible applicants will be reviewed and referred bi-weekly starting 01/30/2026 as vacancies occur or on an as-needed basis until positions are filled. Please upload transcript (official or unofficial) - Required The major duties and responsibilities of a Registered Nurse Transition-to-Practice includes but are not limited to:
- Delivering fundamental knowledge-based care to assigned clients while developing technical skills and competent practice while providing care to clients.
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care based on age-specific components.
- Assuming responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care.
- Administering medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines. Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Completing orientation according to expected standards.
- Working with close supervision, is responsible and accountable for individual nursing practice and seeks direction from others as needed.
- Managing workload as assigned, organizes, and completes own assignments in an efficient and appropriate manner
- Establishing a therapeutic relationship, allowing the patient to attain, maintain or regain optimal function through assessment and treatment.
- Engaging patients, families, and other caregivers to incorporate knowledge, values, and beliefs into care planning without judgement or discrimination.
- Participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of interdisciplinary care.
- Demonstrating positive, effective communication skills and professional behaviors that promote cooperation and teamwork with internal and external customers.
- Participating in unit based educational activities and continuing education requirements.
- Incorporating patient preferences into shared care delivery decisions.

Pay:Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards
Paid Time Off:50 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year)
