About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to take the lead on a diverse range of technology transactions and commercial deals, with a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI), data transactions, business development opportunities, and complex procurement deals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal support and transactional advice to various global business teams, including those focused on AI, data licensing, online campaigns, and procurement. This role requires a professional with 7-10 years of experience, ideally with a background that includes both law firm and in-house corporate experience, and a strong focus on technology and commercial law. Applicants for the Senior Corporate Counsel position at the company should be adept at drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, with a focus on revenue-generating deals. The role demands a strategic thinker with excellent business judgment, the ability to ensure compliance with laws and regulations and a strong work ethic to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a current state bar membership or be admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales, with a preference for those who are fluent in English and have proficiency in a second European language. The company values self-starters who can work both independently and as part of a team, and who possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
