General Labor - Drain Technician

U Pull R Parts is a leading company in the automotive recycling field, specializing in providing high-quality used auto parts at competitive prices. We are currently seeking a dedicated Drain Technician to join our team at our Rosemount, MN location. This full-time role offers the opportunity to grow with our company and build a rewarding career in the automotive industry. As a Drain Technician, you will play a crucial role in preparing vehicles and contributing to a quality customer service and safety experience.
Responsibilities
- Remove catalytic converters and mercury switches from vehicles
- Drain fluids from vehicles including freon, gasoline, oil, power steering fluid, transmission fluid, brake fluid and anti-freeze
- Collaborate with Tire Technicians to prepare cars for the yard
- Removing debris and trash from vehicles
- Maintain clean and safe areas for inspections
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs repetitively and up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Fast learner with strong motivation, vehicle knowledge, and mechanical aptitude
- High School degree is preferred but not required
Compensation
The pay for this position is $23.00/hour.
