Showroom Design Consultant

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM We are looking for a friendly, organized, design-minded professional to join our showroom team. This is a hybrid position combining customer service, interior finish selections, sales support, and showroom operations. You'll be the first point of contact for homeowners, builders, and designers while helping clients navigate products such as cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, plumbing fixtures, and hardware. This role is perfect for someone with experience in interior design, flooring, tile, kitchen & bath, or finish materials who wants to continue growing professionally. Responsibilities Welcome homeowners, contractors, and designers Answer phones and direct inquiries Schedule appointments Maintain a clean, organized showroom Receive deliveries and organize samples Assist walk-in customers Help clients select finish materials Educate customers on product options Follow up on leads Assist with vendor communication Coordinate sample orders Support designers with sourcing and pricing Showroom Operations Organize literature and samples Assist with vendor events and seminars Help coordinate home shows and networking events For candidates interested in expanding their design career, Armada Design Center offers training in: Kitchen and bath layouts Project management Qualifications Preferred experience in one or more of: Interior Design Flooring Tile Countertops Cabinetry Residential construction We are looking for someone who is: Personable and professional Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable talking with clients Self-motivated Curious and eager to learn Able to multitask in a fast-paced showroom Strong with computers and technology Success Looks Like Within the first 90 days, this person should be able to: Confidently assist walk-in clients Understand our core product lines Build estimates for finish materials Maintain showroom organization Begin contributing to sales Within one year: Independently sell finish materials Build lasting client relationships Become a trusted resource for the design team #J-18808-Ljbffr Armada Design Center
