Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to critically ill patients, with a focus on neonatal intensive care. This role involves delivering advanced respiratory therapies during night shifts and may include neonatal transports on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and ventilator support to neonatal and adult patients.
• Monitor patient status closely, adjusting therapies as ordered.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
• Respond to emergency situations involving neonatal and critical care patients.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Perform neonatal intubation and assist with neonatal transports when required.
  Qualifications:
• Hold a valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Possess at least 5 years of critical care experience, with 2-3 years specifically in NICU settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in neonatal intubation.
• Maintain current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
