Position Summary District Manager (Area Coach) responsible for managing and coaching multiple restaurant units, driving business growth, ensuring service quality, and leading a management team. Responsibilities Manage, train, and coach General Managers. Direct and assist with employee assignments to meet operational standards. Ensure compliance with the employee handbook, policies, and practices. Takes appropriate action to address employee issues and policy violations immediately. Review employee and management schedules to ensure continuous service. Monitor restaurant cost control procedures for food, labor, paper, and inventory; take corrective action when necessary. Monitor vendor performance and address issues promptly. Audit units employment‑related records and payroll records. Reinforce the importance of placing guest needs first with management consistently. Respond to escalated guest requests and complaints respectfully; take corrective action when necessary. Recruit, interview, and hire management team members to achieve proper staffing levels. Approve compensation levels of employees and managers within company guidelines. Prepare all necessary operational reports for multiple drive‑ins; develop action plans to resolve unfavorable financial and/or sales trends. Develop and implement a marketing plan for the region. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related fields preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred); experience running shifts without supervision; multi‑unit supervision experience preferred. Required to work a minimum 5‑day workweek including irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and selection practices. Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and local health and sanitation regulations. Leadership and supervisory skills; effective verbal and written communication; basic accounting and computer skills. Ability to follow directions, work autonomously after initial guidance, multi‑task, and solve problems. Problem‑solving, decision‑making, and conflict‑resolution skills.
