Marketing Coordinator

Tacoma, WA | $25 - $30/hr DOE | Mon-Thu 7AM-4PM, Fri 7AM-1:30PM

Murray's Collision Group is a family-owned auto collision repair company that has been serving the greater Puget Sound area since 1984. With six locations across the region, we operate under the CARSTAR and Fix Auto brands. We take care of our people, do quality work, and are looking for someone ready to grow with us.

The Role

We're hiring a Marketing Coordinator to own our brand presence online and in the community across all six locations. You'll manage our social media, build our visibility on Google and AI search tools, develop relationships with referral partners, and represent Murray's at community events. You'll work with a high degree of independence and have real ownership over your work.

A key part of this role is embracing AI as a daily tool, whether that's using it to create content faster, research market opportunities, improve our search visibility, or find smarter ways to reach new customers. We're looking for someone who sees AI as an advantage and is always looking for new ways to put it to work for the business.

What You'll Do

• Manage and grow our presence on Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, and TikTok
• Create and schedule engaging content including photos, videos, reels, and stories
• Capture in-shop content at our locations including before/after photos and team highlights
• Monitor and respond to customer reviews across Google, Yelp, and other platforms
• Improve Murray's visibility in Google Search, Google Maps, and AI-powered search tools so we're the first result customers find
• Travel independently throughout the greater Puget Sound area, from Manchester to Burien and surrounding communities, to conduct in-person outreach and build referral partnerships with insurance agents, auto dealerships, fleet accounts, and other local businesses
• Generate new business for Murray's shop locations through a mix of cold calls, scheduled appointments, and walk-in visits to prospective referral partners
• Research and secure community sponsorship opportunities such as little league, car shows, and local festivals
• Attend and represent Murray's at sponsored events and community activations
• Use AI tools and online research to support content creation, market research, and strategy
• Build monthly content calendars and track performance metrics
• Provide regular reports to leadership with insights and recommendations

What We're Looking For

• Experience creating content from scratch using AI tools and platforms such as Canva, Adobe Suite, or CapCut
• Strong online research skills using Google and other search tools
• Confident and personable, comfortable with in-person and phone outreach
• Able to manage multiple projects across multiple locations independently
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Knowledge of SEO and Google Business Profile management a plus
