About the job Division 6 Services is ready to hire a Commercial Millwork/ Casework Estimator Division 6 Services is seeking an experienced Millwork Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in commercial architectural millwork and casework estimating, with project sizes ranging from $300,000 to $5,000,000 . Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to interpret architectural drawings, and skilled in producing accurate, competitive bids. Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Prepare detailed takeoffs for materials, labor, and subcontractor costs
- Analyze blueprints and develop accurate cost estimates
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing and lead times
- Prepare and submit complete bid proposals within deadlines
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers for project handoff
- Maintain organized records of bids, revisions, and pricing
- 3-5 years of experience in millwork or casework estimating
- Strong understanding of AWI standards and woodworking terminology
- Proficiency with estimating tools (Excel, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, etc.)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
