Senior Technician, Refrigeration/HVAC - $2,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Position Summary Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores and actively recruiting a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. In this role you will support and oversee repair of Walmart's refrigeration and HVAC equipment, using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and a variety of hand, power, and digital tools. Responsibilities Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills. Use the work‑order management system to receive repair work orders, support store associates, and document activities. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls. Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues. Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely. Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart's safety and environmental guidelines. Lift up to 75 pounds, use ladders, and work comfortably at heights. Minimum Qualifications 10 years of experience in commercial refrigeration/HVAC maintenance and rack refrigeration. Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling. Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass an MVR report. 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Completion of a 2‑year technical/vocational HVAC/R program or an associate’s degree in A/C and refrigeration. Excellent driving record. Prior work experience with glycol and CO₂ systems. Compensation Hourly wage range: $26.00 – $51.00 (inclusive of required minimum wage). Additional premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Bonuses and incentive pay are available.
