Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Location: Loveland, Colorado

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will provide care to patients with cardiac, medical, ortho, and neuro conditions. The role demands proficiency in monitoring telemetry strips and delivering quality nursing care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the PCU and Medical/Surgical units.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient care.
• Document patient care and progress accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 24 months of recent PCU experience.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS from approved vendors.
• Valid state nursing license with no hits.
• Preferred travel experience.
