And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.As an Amazon Fleet Remediation Project Design Electrical Engineer, you will lead design projects in operational data centers, that remediate issues, upgrade our existing infrastructure or add new services. You will be the 'go to' engineering resource for these projects and will provide lifecycle support from design through implementation. You will use your electrical expertise to:- Own the design for existing data center upgrades and design-solutions which add data center infrastructure, capacity, improve availability, and/or increase sustainability.- Prepare/review short circuit coordination studies and maintain the software models to match as-built site conditions. - Perform design and equipment submittal reviews for Data Centers in your region.- Interface with internal and external data center design engineering teams, server hardware teams, environmental health and safety teams, field engineering, and controls engineering to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered.- Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions.- Act as a technical subject matter expert for your given discipline during new remediation projects.- Support construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover.We have an immediate opening for a Fleet Remediation Project Design Electrical Engineer in the PDX Cluster. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
