Cardiothoracic Surgery Weekend + Occasional Weekday Vacation Locums Job Eastern Florida 2027 Dates

Jackson and Coker is partnering with a facility on Florida's east coast that is seeking Cardiothoracic Surgery call coverage beginning in 2027. They're looking for a physician who can provide 1-2 weekend blocks per quarter (Friday AM-Monday AM), along with occasional weeklong stretches throughout the year (approximately 4-6 weeks total). Do you have a flexible schedule and an interest in helping with intermittent weekday and weekend locums coverage in 2027?

COVERAGE NEED:
Seeking 1-2 weekends per quarter to include coverage on 7am 6/4/27 - 7am 6/7/27 Will have sporadic weeklong needs throughout the year (specific dates TBD)

Privileging Requirements:
Must be able to provide two leadership references and one peer reference from the last 24 months (CMO, Chief of Staff, Medical Staff president, Surgery/ENT Dept. Chair, Cred. committee chair, etc.)
Must be able to provide up to date case logs
May not have any criminal history + must have minimal credentialing red flags

Details/Requirements for Assignment :
Active Florida license + current DEA required
Seeking currently Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeons
CT Surgery only, no vascular required/needed for this role
Inpatient call coverage will be for ED patients + at times, attached patients; Will be expected to round, see new consults + do emergent procedures
Will have APP inpatient support that serve as 1st assist and do EVH
Facility is a designated level 2 trauma center - has full trauma support staff
Patient volume will vary but between 5-10 PPD, 3-5 cases per week
