3600 Block Line Team Leader – 2nd Shift Location: Lafayette, Indiana Job Duties / Responsibilities Schedule production cell and flow of material Conduct or cover line‑up meetings when necessary Facilitate and assist with daily build issues/problems, including quality, tooling and process issues Coordinate movement/rotation of technicians throughout the area Coordinate rework activities Train operators when necessary Fill in at machines and operations when necessary Assist in maintenance issues as needed Respond to assembly calls Perform line and assembly inventory counts Perform rework on out‑of‑process material Responsible for production, quality, housekeeping, and other related duties associated with the operation and set up of CNC and NC controlled machines Interpret CNC programs JIS, JMI, CMM data, GageIt, and monitor Infinity processes May be required to work overtime to meet manufacturing requirements Basic Qualifications Strong machining background with experience in boring, milling, drilling, and reaming Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems with machine, tooling, and program malfunctions Working knowledge of CNC programs and ability to make offset adjustments as required Time‑management skills and ability to work well with colleagues on all shifts, including support personnel Ability to work necessary overtime Pass a CNC skill assessment to qualify for the position Commitment to remain in the position for 2 years except for a promotion Physical Requirements Lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs Bend and twist at the waist and squat Stand on concrete for 8+ hours Additional Information Position available on 2nd Shift (3:30pm‑11:30pm) Relocation assistance is not offered; relocation costs are the responsibility of the applicant Include an updated resume with your application 13 days / 104 hours of paid Personal Time Off (PTO) – prorated based on start date 11 paid holidays 40‑hour work weeks with potential for overtime Climate‑controlled work environment in most areas Additional financial incentives for overtime and attendance Clean and safe work environment Summary Pay Range $33.27 – $42.33 per hour.
