Cnc Machine Operator

Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machine to perform precision machining operations Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency Inspect in‑process and finished parts using precision measuring instruments Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues Follow relevant QMS processes and procedures (including work instructions) Maintain a clean and organized work area 5‑Axis Responsibilities Set up and operate state‑of‑the‑art 4 and 5‑axis CNC mills Manufacture tight‑tolerance, complex components from aerospace‑grade alloys (aluminum and hard alloys) Interpret and execute part programs, blueprints, and 3D CAD/CAM output with GD&T Perform tool selection, in‑process inspections, and adaptive machining adjustments Collaborate with engineering and quality to ensure parts meet AS9100 and customer specifications Additional Skills & Qualifications Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Lathe Machinist/5 Axis Machinist OR similar role Strong knowledge of machining techniques and tools Excellent attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills Experience in aerospace industry a PLUS Experience with Kitamura, Mazak and Grob is a PLUS!! Experience with Mazak Integrex and Quikturns is a PLUS!! (CNC Lathe) 5‑Axis experience is a PLUS!! Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Wheat Ridge, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
