Supply Chain Specialist

Role Overview The Supply Chain Specialist is a critical execution role supporting the daily operations that keep RAW Nutrition’s supply chain running smoothly. This position is responsible for PO management, KPI visibility, and ensuring raw ingredients and packaging components are ready when production needs them. Attention to detail, proactive communication, and a bias for accuracy are non-negotiable in this role. This is not a passive administrative role. We need someone who owns their piece of the supply chain, catches problems before they become disruptions, and communicates clearly across internal and external partners. Key Responsibilities Purchase Order Management Enter and maintain purchase orders in the system with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring all POs reflect confirmed quantities, pricing, and delivery windows. Reconcile open POs against receipts, flagging discrepancies and working with suppliers and internal teams to resolve variances quickly. KPI Tracking & Reporting Track and maintain key supply chain KPIs including on-time delivery, fill rates, inventory accuracy, and days of supply, surfacing trends and exceptions to the Supply Chain Manager on a regular cadence. Build and maintain reporting tools that give the supply chain team visibility into performance and risk in real time. Raw Ingredient & Packaging Coordination Coordinate inbound raw ingredient procurement with production schedules, ensuring materials arrive on time to support planned production runs without excess inventory accumulation. Monitor packaging component inventory levels and proactively communicate availability gaps or lead time risks that could affect production readiness. Communicate supplier lead times, shipment statuses, and potential delays to the Supply Chain Manager and relevant internal stakeholders in a timely and organized manner. Support resolution of supply disruptions by escalating issues early and coordinating alternative sourcing options when needed. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations within a CPG, food & beverage, or consumer products environment. Hands‑on experience with ERP or order management systems (NetSuite experience a plus) for PO entry, inventory tracking, and reporting. Strong Excel skills; comfortable building and maintaining tracking tools, pivot tables, and dashboards used in day‑to‑day supply chain management. Detail‑oriented with a high standard for data accuracy; understands that a wrong number in a PO or inventory report has real downstream consequences. Clear communicator who can work across production, procurement, and leadership without things falling through the cracks. Comfortable managing multiple open items simultaneously in a fast‑paced, high‑SKU environment. Preferred: Experience in sports nutrition, supplements, or functional food & beverage categories. What Success Looks Like PO data is clean, current, and trusted by the team — no surprises caused by system inaccuracies. Production is never delayed due to a missing raw ingredient or packaging component that could have been anticipated.
