Warehouse Associate II

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include the functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products.

Duties and responsibilities include performing one or more warehouse operational functions within the guidelines of the facility (pick, pack, wrap, load, ship and possibly deliver orders containing a variety of products to for/to our customers), accurately performing product repackaging of orders daily, demonstrating basic material handling/packaging/warehouse equipment skills, delivering product to the customers' specifications/agreed arrangement in a safe and courteous manner treating the customer with the utmost respect as a representative of the company, loading and unloading product properly on DGI vehicles, ensuring product is delivered in a timely manner, coordinating with management to set up delivery schedule, and other duties as assigned.

Skills and experience required include a high school diploma or GED, a driver license (Class C non-CDL), 1+ years' experience preferred but not required, effective written/oral communication skills and customer service skills, being detail oriented and accurate, ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established distribution metrics and standards, solid math skills, self-motivation, teamwork, proficiency in Microsoft office, passion, adaptability, customer focus, a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
