Senior District Manager, Hematology

Senior District Manager overseeing an oncology sales team in the Chicago area for Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division. Responsible for implementing sales strategies, managing team performance, and driving market penetration of hematology products while ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage field-based oncology sales specialists and execute performance management
• Direct implementation of territory business plans for breakthrough oncology products
• Build strategic plans and guide team to deliver sales results within assigned budget
• Develop talent, engage team members, and manage individual performance
• Engage internal and external customers while working in field with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree minimum
• Eight years relevant work experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industry
• Five years sales or cross-functional commercial experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams
• Valid U.S. driver's license and willingness to travel up to 40%
• Oncology or hospital/large account sales experience preferred
• Prior people management experience or Management Development Program completion preferred

Compensation: $141,000-$243,800 base; eligible for annual performance bonus
