The primary objective is to deliver an exceptional level of customer service.

Specific duties relating to goals include:

• Greet each customer warmly upon their arrival in the store and your department, and periodically check back to re-engage.
• Offer intelligent product recommendations tailored to the customers' needs and desires, providing examples of product functionality and benefits. This knowledge is acquired through continuous training from both in-store and online resources.
• Propose add-on items to enhance the sale.
• Request customer feedback on current products and suggest new items they would like to see in the store, sharing this feedback with Managers.
• Constantly patrol the floor to ensure cleanliness and organization, performing necessary cleaning tasks and removing tripping hazards.
• Limit personal conversations to a minimum and avoid engaging in political or other sensitive discussions with customers.
• Assist in filling merchandise, receiving shipments, maintaining visual presentation, and performing other tasks as directed.

Other required duties include:

• Monitor for suspicious activity or shoplifting and promptly inform investigations when necessary.
• Cover breaks or assist in other departments and operate registers as needed.

Organizational structure and hierarchy:

• The position reports to all members of Management, with tasks assigned by managers.
• The schedule is created and maintained by Store Managers.
• Salespersons work collaboratively with other employees to complete projects and assist customers.
• The Director of Investigations has the authority to direct salespeople regarding security issues.
