- Support production and maintenance operations with machining needs
- Manufacture repair parts, spare parts, and consumables for production equipment
- Operate both conventional and CNC machines safely and efficiently
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and machining standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S principles)
- Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing standards
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams on various projects
- Perform operator-level maintenance (cleaning, inspection, lubrication)
- Support continuous improvement and shop organization efforts
- Ensure adherence to documentation and quality requirements
- 5-8 years of machining experience in a machine shop environment
- Ability to operate conventional and CNC machines
- Strong blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation skills
- Understanding of ISO tolerancing and ASME Y14.5 standards
- Ability to read, write, and understand G/M code
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working in physically demanding manufacturing environments
- Ability to work at heights, various levels, and in standing positions for long periods
- Willingness to take a machinist/mechanical aptitude test
- Experience using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators)
- Knowledge of mechanical systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, piping, boiler, steam systems)
- Preventive maintenance experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with 5S workplace organization practices
- Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments
- Broad mechanical aptitude across equipment systems
