Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Sales Specialist role based in Davenport, IA with a State Farm Agent. The Sales Specialist will engage prospective and existing customers to understand their needs and present appropriate insurance and financial service products. Daily responsibilities include making outbound calls, responding to inbound inquiries, scheduling and conducting appointments, preparing personalized quotes, and processing applications. The role also involves providing attentive customer service, handling policy changes, assisting with claims‑related questions, and ensuring accurate documentation in agency systems. The Sales Specialist will collaborate with the agent and team on sales campaigns, participate in training, and contribute to achieving agency sales and retention goals. Qualifications Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with a wide range of customers and team members. Customer Service skills to build trust, handle inquiries and concerns, and deliver a positive, solutions‑focused experience. Sales skills to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate products, follow up on leads, and close sales ethically. Training and Sales Management skills to support team initiatives, adopt coaching feedback, and contribute to achieving sales targets. Ability to work on‑site full time in Davenport, IA, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment. Basic proficiency with computers and CRM or agency management systems; comfort learning new software tools. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
