Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound imaging across breast, abdomen, and gynecology, with emphasis on breast care; optimize images and follow imaging protocols
- Operate ultrasound equipment, adjust technical parameters, document findings, and communicate results through the EMR system
- Assist with breast biopsy procedures, including pre-procedure imaging, specimen handling, and adherence to sterile technique under radiologist direction
- Maintain Epic EMR workflows and ensure accurate, timely documentation and reporting
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort, maintain infection control and radiation safety standards
- Weekend coverage may be required on an as-needed basis; there is no block scheduling
- Attend bi-weekly orientation sessions on Mondays

Requirements
- Active ARDMS certification in abdomen, gynecology, and breast
- BLS certification
- Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency)
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience
- Experience in a breast care center; experience performing breast biopsies
- Large teaching hospital experience preferred; Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
