Accountant

The Accountant assumes responsibility for appropriate payment of facility invoices, all payroll related functions and assists Controller with special projects as assigned. This position requires the ability to: perform office work directly related to management policies or general business operations; exercise discretion and independent judgment; provide regular and direct assistance to executives; and perform work, special assignments and tasks under very general supervision. Minimum Qualifications Four year degree in accounting or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. 3-4 years of work experience in a healthcare accounting environment. 2 years of experience in accounts payable and payroll functions. Machines, Equipment Used General office equipment such as computer/laptop, telephone, copy/fax machine, calculator, scanner, etc. Microsoft Office software, to include Outlook, Word, and Excel.
