Banquet Set Up

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable professional to support the setup and preparation of banquet spaces for meetings, celebrations, conferences, and special events. This role plays an important part in creating a welcoming and well-organized environment for guests while ensuring event spaces are arranged safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare banquet rooms and event spaces according to event orders and floor plans.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, and other event equipment as needed.
• Set up audiovisual items, décor, signage, and related materials when applicable.
• Ensure all banquet spaces are clean, organized, and ready before guest arrival.
• Assist with moving and positioning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support timely transitions between events, including reset and breakdown of rooms.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, culinary teams, and event staff.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquet, hospitality, event setup, or related support roles is preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and arrange equipment and furnishings as part of the role.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately.
