Ag Equipment Operator

Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: Load/unload trucks. Drive farm trucks, farm tractors to haul grain from field ag bags and farm site grain bins to elevators. Clean field ag bags. Maintain/repair farm equipment and machinery, overhaul motors, general maintenance. Maintain/clean shop area, including tools and parts. Remove snow and ice on farm site as needed. Basic livestock care; monitor health during cold winter months, haul feed and water. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Crops: Wheat, sunflowers, oats, corn, milo & other related Ag Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate. See attached Addendum C. Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range) Meals: The employer will furnish cooking facilities, utilities, and utensils for workers to prepare their own meals in the housing provided kitchen. Included basic appliances will consist of, but is not limited to, refrigerator, stove/oven, and sink with hot and cold-water connections. All appliances included will be in good, working condition for the workers. Employer will provide transportation to grocery store at least once a week for workers who wish to shop for food. Transport: The employer will provide or pay for charter bus services or other modes of transportation to H-2A or U.S. workers, or permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved in traveling (a) to the place of employment from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer (i.e., inbound) and (b) from the pl...
