Position Overview:
MLR Healthcare is looking for a skilled and motivated Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in performing echocardiograms and will play a crucial role in diagnosing and monitoring cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, providing preliminary findings to physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to create personalized care plans for patients.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiac imaging technology and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent.
- Current state licensure as a sonographer in Indiana.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
