Title: Incoming Quality Control Inspector

Reports to
Quality Assurance Manager

Summary: 

The Quality Control inspector responsibility is to inspect and sample all incoming components and raw ingredients. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

1. The Quality Control will visually examine component for discrepancies 
2. Responsible and in charge of labeling or tagging all components with a component Identification tag if components pass inspection. 
3. Responsible for accurately completing the Quality Control Component Inspection Report 
4. In charge of tagging (with a hold tag) and quarantining all failed components. 
5. Conduct inspections of all finished goods 
6. Responsible for the completion of the incoming inspection report of finished goods form 
7. In charge of monitoring and recording number of defectives identified by using a Z1.4 inspection chart 
8. Inform department supervisor when percentage of defective components exceeds allowable limits, requiring inspection of entire unit output. 
9. Responsible to notify and inform all parties involved when a discrepancy is identified. 
10. Responsible for updating the QC incoming log. 
11. Responsible for updating the non conformance log 
12. Responsible for inspecting all outgoing and incoming components from 3rd party company. 
13. Inspection all UPC labels 
14. Other duties as assigned by supervisor 

The skills you`ll need: 

1. Career Level Required: Experienced (Non-Manager) 

Education Required : 

High School or Equivalent, also some college helpful
