CSI Companies is seeking a Data Conversion Specialist to work with one of our top healthcare clients! Title : Data Conversion Specialist Locatio n: 100% Remote Duratio n: 3 - 6+ month contract Description: Role Summary The Data Conversion Analyst is responsible for leading the extraction, transformation, and loading of clinical data from Veradigm into Epic. This role involves developing SQL queries, managing data mapping and validation, and ensuring data integrity throughout the migration process. The position is a contract role starting on June 15, 2026, with the end date to be determined . Key Responsibilities Extract data from Veradigm SQL database backups by analyzing schema and designing custom SQL queries Develop, test, and execute ETL processes to map legacy data into Epic-compatible formats Utilize integration engines and HL7 interfaces to transform and route data into Epic where applicable Perform data mapping, normalization, and transformation to meet Epic standards Validate and test migrated data through structured validation cycles to verify accuracy and completeness Support data migration activities including initial loads, iterative test loads, and final cutover Identify and troubleshoot data quality, integrity, and formatting issues throughout the process Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies independently Collaborate with clinical, technical, and operational stakeholders to confirm data requirements and validation results Document data conversion logic, mappings, assumptions, and processes for auditability and reuse Troubleshoot integration and data flow issues across SQL extraction, transformation, and Epic ingestion layers Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and interoperability practices, including HL7
