Role Overview Position Registered Nurse specializing in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Responsibilities Provide direct patient care during surgical and invasive procedures, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes. Perform scrub and circulating duties, managing instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and monitoring patients in real-time. Coordinate perioperative care before, during, and after surgeries, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality standards. Assist surgeons with intraoperative tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning to enhance procedural efficiency and safety. Qualifications & Skills Valid RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing. Current BLS certification; ACLS certification within six months of hire preferred. Minimum of 2 years of CVOR circulating experience preferred. Educational requirement: diploma from an accredited school or professional licensure at hire. Key Attributes Strong clinical skills in perioperative nursing and surgical support. Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
