Overview Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, is hiring a Full‑time Supervisor, Environmental Services. Hours/Shift: Full‑time Day Shift from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Environmental Services Team Coordinator assists the manager in planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating, and controlling the activities of department functions necessary to maintain a clean and safe working environment. The coordinator participates in work activities of assigned teams by providing assistance, serving as a technical resource, and participating as a team member. Responsibilities include effective work coordination, resource management, and contribution to goal accomplishment, while supporting and communicating Sentara’s mission, values, goals, and directions to team members. CHEST certification is required for all staff by 7/31/2019. New employees hired after 8/1/2016 must obtain CHEST certification within 2 years of hire.
